A Keywords Everywhere API alternative without an annual plan
You want search volumes for a keyword list inside a script, a spreadsheet, n8n or an AI agent, and you looked at the Keywords Everywhere API. Here is what its plans include, what PlainRows charges, and when each one is cheaper.
What the Keywords Everywhere plans include
From keywordseverywhere.com/compare-plans.html on 2026-10-18:
- Bronze $84 per year (100,000 credits), Silver $168 (400,000), Gold $480 (2,000,000), Platinum $1,440 (8,000,000).
- All plans are annual, and every plan includes the extension and the API.
- One credit buys the volume, CPC, competition and 12-month trend for one keyword; credits are valid for 12 months.
Per keyword, that is about $0.84 per 1,000 keywords on Bronze and less on bigger plans, if you use all your credits within the year.
What PlainRows charges

found: false and are not billed, duplicates are removed for free, and a run never spends more than the maximum cost you set.
When Keywords Everywhere is the better choice
- You check keywords every month, more than about 10,000 a year: the Bronze plan then costs less per keyword than PlainRows, and much less on bigger plans.
- You want volumes in the browser, next to Google results, as well as through an API.
When PlainRows is the better choice
- You size a keyword list now and then (a content plan, a client audit) and do not want to pay a year up front or watch credits expire.
